The presentation of Dr. Ing. Jean-Luc Birbaum (BASF Research Fellow until his retirement in 2018) on photoinitiators will review the most important radical photoinitiators, covering topics relevant to their application : light penetration and the problem of through-cure versus surface cure, bleaching photoinitiators and their use for LED curing, as well as photocleavage products and the migration of photoinitiators.
