Redox polymerisation, polyaddition in 2K and 1K systems (development of new (photo)catalysts and redox agents)

-Redox polymerisation : For gentle and environmentally friendly polymerisation conditions, redox initiation systems are increasingly being used. This is because redox polymerisation can be carried out at room temperature without any external energy input. Furthermore, these processes can be highly effective in air and without purification of monomers/resins. However, redox agents currently have toxicity and stability issues, so the development of new redox agents or redox polymerisation is at the heart of this topic.
-Polyaddition : Epoxy-amine or epoxy-anhydride systems are among the most widely used polyaddition systems. The aim here is to activate them at low temperatures using light activation or new catalysts. Numerous applications in adhesives and composites are already being considered.
