Description

Areas of activity :
The digital microscope allows imaging and measurement at micrometric scale in 2D or 3D (length, angle, surface, depth, roughness, etc.) of all sample types.

Main equipment (strengths of the Institute) :
The platform has an OLYMPUS DSX500 model microscope

Technical description

The Olympus digital microscope can go up to a magnification of 50 μm X 50 μm. It features brightfield, blackfield, interferential contrast, and polarized light observation modes.

It has 3 lenses :

  • XLMPLFLN10xDSX ; NA = 0.3 ; X1 zoom resolution of 12.08 μm
  • XLMPLFLN40xDSX ; NA = 0.8 ; X1 zoom z resolution of 0.75 μm
  • MPLFLN50XBDP ; NA = 0.8 ; X1 zoom z resolution of 0.48 μm

It is equipped with a motorised plate in x and y, and can work in light provided by transmission or reflection.

ou réflexion.
