Description

Areas of activity :

NMR of the “high resolution” solid is a non-destructive spectroscopic technique. It gives information on the chemical environment of the studied atoms, the crystallinity, the number and the nature of the crystallographic sites, the connectivities between the different sites, molecular dynamics, functionalization, etc…

The activities of the NMR platform consist of using the full potential of the NMR of the mono and two-dimensional solid for the fine structural characterisation of materials, relying if necessary on Very Large NMR Instruments (TGI-NMR) to access higher fields. Within the IS2M, it mainly finds its applications in the characterisation of porous and non-porous materials, clays, organised mesoporous, zeolites and organic-inorganic hybrid materials of the MOF (Metal Organic Framework), TLH (Talc Like Hybrids), structured organosilica films, metallophosphates, polymers (loaded and unloaded), cellulose, wood, inks…

Main equipment (strengths of the Institute) :
The platform is equipped with 2 spectrometers :
• 300MHz AVANCE NEO BRUKER Spectrometer (Ascend™ magnet) controlled by TOPSPIN 4.1.3 software
• 400MHz AVANCE NEO BRUKER Spectrometer (Ascend™ magnet) controlled by TOPSPIN 4.1.3 software
